A few more details on our iPhone Take apart video. We were 3rd in line at our local ATT store and we thing they only had about 30 iPhones. By 6pm there were 50+ people in line. At 6:15 we were back at the office and started the disassembly of the iPhone. Wow I have been taking apart PDA's, Smartphones and iPOD's since 1997 and this was the toughest one we have ever done.
We took the iphone apart a couple of time before we shot the video just to make sure we had all the details correct when we did the video shoot. Thank goodness by buddy Ryan at iresq.com had taken one apart about 2 hours before us and tipped us in the right direction on a few key parts to undo first.
So about 3+ hours later we edit the video point out a bunch of things to watch out for and upload to YouTube. The rest is as they say history.
Thanks again to Andy at Incipio for adding our video up on the site and the great accessories they make for the iPhone…
